HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
In T.I.M.E Stories, you and your team are temporal agents of the T.I.M.E Agency, an organization dedicated to protecting humanity from glitches and paradoxes that could unravel the fabric of the universe. Your mission? To travel through time, inhabiting the bodies of beings in different realities, to complete crucial tasks. The best part is that failure is not an option, as you can go back in time as many times as needed to correct mistakes and optimize your actions. This is a narrative 'decksploration' game, where each player can deeply immerse themselves in their character's role, experiencing a rich story both on the board and at the table. But make no mistake, T.I.M.E Stories is also a board game with rules that encourage reflection and strategy. At the beginning, you receive a briefing at the agency's base, and the goal is to complete the mission with the fewest possible attempts. Your actions and movements consume Temporal Units (TUs), the quantity of which varies depending on the scenario and the number of players. Each attempt is called a 'run.' When TUs run out, agents are pulled back to the agency but return to the beginning of the scenario with the experience gained. The ultimate goal is to achieve a 'perfect run,' solving all puzzles and overcoming obstacles. The base game includes the complete T.I.M.E Stories system and the first scenario, 'Asylum.' Each scenario is a deck of over 120 cards, which you explore, often in the form of panoramas. Some cards require specific items, while others reveal surprises, enemies, puzzles, clues, and dangers. The box insert allows you to 'save' the game at any point, just like in a video game, pausing the session and preserving the state of receptacles, remaining TUs, and discovered clues. Get ready for an adventure where anything is possible!
