About the game
What you do in a play session
Imagine a world where massive-scale-titans roam the land, leaving destruction in their wake. This is the setting for The Ancient World, where you step into the role of a leader striving to build the most influential city-state. Your goal isn' ven just about survival, but about dominance through the collection of tribe banners,- which serve as your primary-source of victory points.
The gameplay is a tight-knit blend of worker placement,- resource management, and tactical-combat. Each turn, you'll deploy your citizens to perform various actions, such as building empire cards that grant more-resources,- or launching military strikes against the-titans. Defeating these-behemoths is high-risk but high-reward, offering-valuable influence-and-resources-that-can-swing the-game-in your favor. The-game uses a clever dice-resolution-system-to-determine-the-success-of-your-efforts,-blending-strategy-with-a-touch-of-unpredictability.
This second edition brings several-exciting-upgrades-to-the-table. Titans-are-now-more-dangerous-and-can-directly-attack-your-city-state-adding-a-layer-of-tension. The introduction of Ambrosia-adds-a-new-resource-to-manage,-and-the-revised-player-boards-provide-a-much-smoother-experience. Whether you are-focusing on-growing-your-economy-or-becoming-a-warrior-king,-every-decision-matters. If you enjoy games that combine-set-collection-with-engine-building-and-a-sense-of-epic-scale,-this-is-the-adventure-you've-been-waiting-for!
