The Cook‑off is a culinary tournament that pits chefs from around the world against each other to prove who is the best and most productive. In 10 rounds, each consisting of three actions, players must cook meats and vegetables while defending against sabotage. The secret lies in planning the order of action cards in a queue, able to change the sequence between cards as they are revealed. Tension rises when a player decides to ‘take that’ the opponent, blocking ingredients or delaying recipes. All participants receive the same hand of cards, but the strategy of who chooses and when to reveal actions makes all the difference. The final goal is to accumulate the most victory points (VPs) with successful recipes, without friendly tricks helping. The game offers colorful, high‑quality components: 42 action cards, vegetable, meat, and sabotage tokens, plus a board with round and score markers. The simultaneous action selection mechanic ensures no one knows what the other is doing until the reveal, while the action queue allows tactical adjustments mid‑game.
