Get ready for a double dose of dubious potions and daring in The Quacks of Quedlinburg: Big Box! This generous edition combines the base game, The Herb Witches expansion, and the Wolfgang's Exchange Office mini-expansion, all in one box. Each round, you and your friends are quack doctors competing to create the best (and most explosive!) potion. You'll add ingredients one at a time from your bag, drawing chips and hoping not to mix in too many cherry bombs. The more valuable the ingredient, the further it goes in your recipe, increasing the potion's worth. But beware! If your cauldron explodes, you'll have to choose between points or coins. Earn points and coins to buy better ingredients and boost your bag for the next rounds. The game lasts nine rounds, and whoever has the most points at the end wins the fame (and fortune!). The Herb Witches expansion adds witches with unique powers and more recipe books, while Wolfgang's Exchange Office introduces new ways to score at the end. It's pure fun with a touch of luck and plenty of strategy to avoid going up in smoke!

What is the average playtime?
A typical game lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the players' familiarity with the rules and expansions.
How many players can participate?
The game is for 2 to 5 players. It works well at all player counts, but it gets more chaotic and fun with more people.
Is it very difficult to learn?
The basic rules are quite straightforward, focusing on drawing chips from the bag. Complexity increases slightly with the expansions, but it's not overwhelming for new players to jump in.

This special edition includes the base game 'The Quacks of Quedlinburg', the 'The Herb Witches' expansion, and the 'Wolfgang's Exchange Office' mini-expansion.
Do I need to play the base game first?
Not necessarily. The Big Box comes with everything organized so you can play directly with the expansions if you wish. However, many enjoy starting with the basics to get the hang of it.
Is it a good game for families?
Absolutely! It's an accessible game with a fun theme and mechanics that appeal to both experienced gamers and beginners or younger players (around 10 years and up).
