About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your gear ready, because tactical combat is about to kick off! The Warcode is a miniature-driven tactical game focused on head-to-head duels, where strategy and positioning are everything. Forget generic battles; here, you command an eight-unit squad against a rival squad in a highly dynamic sci-fi setting. The goal is simple yet intense: accumulate victory points or completely wipe out the enemy squad to claim supremacy on the battlefield.
The match is split into four rounds of alternating activations. Each unit has two action points, meaning you'll need to think hard about every single move. But don't be fooled: resource management is vital. Ammo is limited, and reloading costs you precious time. Additionally, the battlefield is a dangerous and opportunistic place; if a unit falls, their dropped equipment stays on the board for anyone to scavenge. It's the organized chaos that every wargame fan loves!
To ensure no two matches are ever the same, the game offers six randomized map layouts and a different event card for each round. If you find yourself falling behind in points, don't panic: you can draw a secret contract. This contract reveals a specific assassination target, giving you a golden opportunity to turn the tide and catch up to your opponent. With four balanced factions and 32 unique miniatures in total, The Warcode delivers a pure, fast-paced, and highly rewarding tactical combat experience for those who love high-stakes duels.
