The Base is the life total

In Star Wars: Unlimited it is the Base that has life, not the player. The game ends when the opposing Base HP reaches zero, and the starting value is printed on the chosen Base card — usually 30, but it varies.

That means there is a single main count per side, which is simpler to follow than a TCG with per-creature damage. What complicates it is pace: unit and event damage stacks up fast over a few turns.

Since the starting value depends on the Base card, set the counter to the correct number before the first turn instead of assuming 30 by default.

Frequently Asked Questions

4 questions
How much damage destroys a Base in Star Wars Unlimited?
Standard Bases have 30 HP. Reducing your opponent base HP to zero immediately wins the duel.
Does every Base have 30 HP?
No. Thirty is the most common value, but HP is printed on each Base card and there are variations. Check yours before starting.
Does the player have life separate from the Base?
No. The Base holds the entire count: when its HP reaches zero, the game is over.
Can Base HP be healed?
Yes, through specific card effects. That is why the counter supports adding as well as subtracting.
