Trickerion: Collector's Edition transports players to the Victorian world of stage magicians, blending Euro‑game elegance with a richly themed experience. Each participant controls an ambitious illusionist, directing apprentices and specialists to gather magical components, expand their repertoire of tricks, or stage spectacular shows in the theater. The game employs worker placement and simultaneous action selection, so you plan your moves while trying to anticipate rivals' choices. Action points limit what can be done each round, and an action queue resolves those choices in order, creating tense strategic depth. At the end of each round, your performance generates money and, more importantly, fame—the key resource, since higher fame unlocks more powerful tricks. The win condition is to finish with the most fame points, outshining the other magicians. The Collector's Edition bundles the base game, the Dahlgaard's Academy expansion, the Dahlgaard's Gifts add‑on, and four modules (Dark Alley, Duel of Magicians, Magician Powers, Workshop Contraptions), plus premium components such as a uniquely numbered alternate‑art box, velvet lid, metal coins, linen pouches, and every stretch‑goal content—solo mode, new magicians, double‑deck trays, Dawn of Technology mini‑expansion, and more. With a weight of 4.48, it offers a medium‑heavy experience lasting 60‑180 minutes, perfect for 1‑4 players who enjoy thematic immersion and deep tactical decisions.
