About the game
In a not-so-distant future, Earth's overpopulation has forced us to look downwards – way downwards! In Underwater Cities, you step into the shoes of one of the planet's brightest minds, tasked with building the most advanced and livable underwater metropolises. Get ready for a strategic journey that lasts between 30 to 45 minutes per player, where every decision is crucial for the success of your aquatic civilization.

The game's core revolves around a clever card placement system. You'll have three colored cards to position into corresponding colored slots on the main board. The magic happens when you manage to match the card's color with the slot's color: this allows you to execute not only the action depicted on the board slot but also the extra benefit from the card! It's a double dose of strategy every turn!

With these actions and advantages, you'll gather essential resources, expand your personal area by building and upgrading domes, tunnels, and vital production buildings like farms and laboratories. Keep an eye on the initiative track, as it determines player order for the next turn – a crucial detail for optimizing your moves. You'll also be able to activate your 'A' cards and acquire new cards, both basic and special, which offer even more strategic options. With nearly 220 cards divided into different usage types, variety is guaranteed. The underwater areas are double-sided, meaning plenty of opportunities to accumulate Victory Points and, of course, emerge as the ultimate winner of this aquatic challenge!
