About the game
Get your coal ready and tune your whistle, because we're heading West! Whistle Stop transports you to the late 19th century, right after the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in the United States. But don't think the work is done; in reality, the race to connect the country through tracks and expanding towns was just beginning, and you're the one in charge of this expansion.

In this game, you step into the shoes of a railroad tycoon attempting to build the most efficient and profitable network. The real twist here is how it reinvents the classic 'pick-up and deliver' concept. Instead of just moving cargo from point A to B, you must make constant strategic decisions: is it worth unloading goods in smaller towns to gain shares in other companies and increase your influence, or is it better to hold onto that heavy shipment until you reach the West Coast for a much larger payout?

Every turn, you'll need to manage your coal resources and optimize your action points to avoid falling behind. You'll be laying down new track tiles, collecting special whistles to perform incredible maneuvers, and, of course, trying not to get blocked by opponents as they attempt to cut off your routes. It's a game of constant balance between rapid expansion and logistical efficiency. If you enjoy watching your map grow and need to plan every move to maximize profits, Whistle Stop will keep you hooked from start to finish. Get ready for a high-speed journey where every stop counts!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a game last?
Usually between 60 and 75 minutes, depending on the player count.
How difficult is it?
It's a medium-weight game (2.7/5). It's not a simple party game, but it's not a heavy 4-hour Euro either.
Does it work well with 2 players?
It works, but the experience really shines with 4 players, where the competition for routes gets much more intense.
Do I need to know English to play?
Language dependency is moderate. Icons help a lot, but having a translated reference or cards in your language makes it much easier.
Who would you recommend this to?
For strategy fans who enjoy network building and resource management without overwhelming complexity.
