About the game
What you do in a play session
Get this: you work for a hypothetical courier service called 'amajon', and the whole point is you're sending packages to the same destination. In Witch's Shot Delivery Service, we step into the shoes of these delivery folks in a card game that mixes trick-taking with a bit of risk management. Each round, you and the other players try to win tricks to deliver your packages. But here's the catch: each package delivered puts a strain on your spine!
At the start of each hand, everyone draws a quota card that tells you how many packages you need to deliver. This card also shows the state of your spine, which gets worse with every successful delivery. If you overexert yourself, your spine suffers even more! And watch out, some packages are heavier than others.
At the end of the hand, you earn points for each trick you won and get a bonus if you hit your quota exactly. But be careful, because the game ends after a few rounds, and permanent damage to your spine can cost you precious points. The player with the most points at the end wins. It's a quick game with simple rules that tests your luck and planning to avoid ending up all sore!
