About the game
What you do in a play session
In Wrath of Fire Mountain, you lead a tribe in a primordial land where dinosaurs and volcanoes call the shots! The goal is straightforward: dominate the land before the mountain erupts and ruins your plans. Each turn, you'll roll dice Yahtzee-style and use the results to guide your actions. Want to send your people to control a volcano? Or perhaps focus on hatching dinosaur eggs to gain powerful allies? Each die icon gives you a clue: volcanoes let you place cave people, eggs hatch dinosaurs, caves and huts are for expanding your tribe, and footprints help you move your pieces across the 4x4 board. But beware, the terrain is tricky! You can cross water but not stop in it, and the volcano is forbidden territory for your explorers. The dinosaurs you hatch aren't just pets; they come with special powers that can turn the tide, like letting you roll an extra die, occupy water spaces, or even fly anywhere! Controlling the volcano area grants you the power to shift board tiles, altering the map in real-time. When the mountain decides to erupt, whoever has the most presence in forest, grass, and water areas scores points. Scoring also happens at the volcano, which is then emptied. The game ends when a player reaches a certain point threshold, and the tribe leader with the most points is crowned the winner. Get ready for a prehistoric adventure packed with strategy and twists!
