About the game
In Atlantis Rising, you're one of the citizens of the legendary island on the brink of sinking. Hope lies in constructing a 10-component mystical portal before it's too late and the island is swallowed by the waves forever. It's a fully cooperative game where everyone works together against time and threats. Each turn, you decide where to allocate your citizens: areas closer to the sea offer greater rewards but run a higher risk of being flooded. And beware! After allocation, misfortune cards can cause parts of the island to disappear, taking your citizens with them. If that happens, they lose their turn and have to swim back. You also need to deal with attacks from the Athenians, who are trying to plunder the island before it vanishes. To make matters worse, mystical energy is limited but can be used to predict or mitigate disasters. Libraries offer powerful one-time use effects. The portal's difficulty can be adjusted, making the game easier or more challenging. Prepare to make tough decisions, manage resources, and hope your plans succeed before Atlantis becomes just a submerged legend. Can you save the island and its people?
