When spring arrives, the great thaw begins: the queen stirs, and the colony comes to life. In *March of the Ants*, you build the meadow board by sending your ants to explore, reveal, and strategically place unique tiles—Fern, Pebble, Nest of Centipedes—across the landscape. Each turn, you can breed larvae, march ants to collection sites, and vie for territory against rival colonies. The choice is yours: battle for control or forge peaceful alliances and share the spoils. All while managing your underground nest’s resources. Event Cards like Strange Appetite or Fungal Outbreak can swing the entire board or target a single foe, while Evolution Cards—Trap Jaw, Weaver Thorax, Leaf Cutter Abdomen—allow your colony to morph into something entirely new. The goal? Accumulate Colony Points by exploring and controlling the meadow, while pursuing Colony Goals such as Epic Stores or Extensive Tunnels that chart your path to victory. It’s a blend of subterranean strategy and the thrill of living within a living colony—literally!
