About the game

What you do in a play session

Midville: The Car Wars Adventure Pack drops you into the mayhem of a tiny American town turned Crash City set piece. The story unfolds in Midville, Ohio, a once‑quiet community now swarmed by Crash City fans, biker gangs, and the local law‑enforcement squad known as the MONDOs, who patrol the streets like the Texas Rangers of the future. The expansion supplies a 24‑page rulebook packed with background lore, character write‑ups, and three ready‑to‑play scenarios. Its centerpiece is four large 21" x 32" maps that can be used solo or stitched together with Car Wars Deluxe and Boat Wars boards, giving you plenty of layout options. A full‑color 8" x 10" counter sheet provides city vehicles, duel teams and other icons. Games run about 45 minutes and accommodate 2‑8 players, perfect for big groups craving fast‑paced action. Movement and combat happen on a hexagonal grid, allowing tactical positioning and six‑directional maneuvers. Though it’s an expansion, the pack is essentially stand‑alone once you own the Car Wars base game, delivering street battles, high‑speed chases, and shoot‑outs that capture the quirky 2040s vibe. If you love vehicular combat, sci‑fi humor and a dash of TV drama, Midville serves it all with a nostalgic 80s flair.
