About the game
Ever dreamed of being the architect of the most glorious city of the Ancient World? In World Wonders, you step into the shoes of a great leader from the past with the mission of transforming a simple settlement into a legendary metropolis. The core of the game is the management of gold and space: each round, you spend your resources to acquire and place building tiles on your map. But it's not just about buying; you need a real strategy!

There are five types of buildings, each with specific functions. Some focus on food production, others on commerce, and this balance is what drives your population growth. The more people in your city, the stronger you become. But be careful: to expand, you'll need roads to connect everything, otherwise, your city becomes urban chaos. And of course, you can't forget the monuments. They are the crown jewels, granting essential victory points, but they come with a steep price: claiming a monument usually consumes all your remaining gold for the round.

The game is a constant exercise in prioritization. Do you spend now to grow your economy or save up to secure that epic monument? The tension rises because you're in an open draft — meaning if you hesitate to grab that perfect piece, your opponent might take it first. The game ends after 10 rounds or as soon as a player reaches the maximum population limit. In the end, the one with the most efficient and prestigious city wins. With wooden components and a polished look, World Wonders blends the satisfaction of solving a puzzle with the depth of an expert strategy game.
