About the game
In *Yggdrasil Chronicles*, you and your friends become Norse gods in a desperate bid to save the nine worlds from Ragnarök’s chaos. The 3D board depicts Yggdrasil, the cosmic tree, with realms on different tiers — and yes, the middle tier rotates! Each player controls a unique god, with personalized enemies drawn from their own deck. Each round, monsters like Loki or Surt advance, and if they’re left with no moves... game over, myth failed. But fear not: you can teleport between realms, recruit heroes, grab artifacts, and even make RPG-style 'risk rolls' to avoid damage. The kicker? Coordinating actions with fellow gods to maximize effects and stop Nidhogg (yep, the world-ending serpent) from devouring everything. There’s also a hard mode with extra divine powers and a six-saga campaign starting with Baldr’s murder. Get ready to yell 'Valhalla!' at every nail-biting decision.
