The king is dead! And what happened? No one knows for sure, but he was found face down in a wine barrel. Whether it was foul play or just thirst that did him in, the fact is the throne is vacant and without known heirs. Now, it's up to the five factions of the realm to decide who will be the new monarch: you or your opponent? In Claim 2, you need to prove you have what it takes to win the loyalty of the factions and ascend to power. This game, a standalone sequel to Claim, introduces five new factions that can be played on their own or mixed with the factions from the original game, offering incredible flexibility in setting up your match. Gameplay unfolds in two distinct phases. In the first phase, players receive a hand of cards and use them to recruit followers. This is a crucial moment for building your support base. In the second phase, the strategy shifts: you will use the followers recruited in the previous phase to compete and win over the five factions of the realm. Each faction has a special power that affects the game, and the cool thing is that these powers can change between phases, adding an extra layer of unpredictability and strategy! At the end of the game, the player who has the majority of followers of a faction wins that faction's vote. Whoever wins the vote of at least three factions wins the game and becomes the new king! Get ready for plenty of tactics and twists in this duel for the throne.
